Where to stay for Oktoberfest 2027
Oktoberfest 2027 runs from Saturday 18 September to Sunday 3 October. Munich hotels are already taking bookings for it, and this is the cheapest those rooms will ever be. Every month you wait, the price goes up and the good ones go.
Book the room before you book anything else
Munich has roughly the same number of beds every year and about six million people trying to use them over sixteen days. Rooms that cost €90 in June cost €400 during the Wiesn, and the ones near the Theresienwiese sell out first. You do not need a tent reservation to come, and you do not need a plan yet. You do need somewhere to sleep, and that is the one thing that genuinely runs out.

Munich hotels release Oktoberfest dates at different times and the cheap ones go first. Leave your email and I will tell you when rooms open and when prices move, so you are not checking fourteen sites yourself.
